Privacy policy

This policy covers personal data processed by Build My App Live through buildmyapp.live, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What is collected, and why

• Your name, email and phone number, when you buy a seat. Used to confirm the purchase, send the joining link, and reach you about this session. Collected because there is no way to deliver a live workshop to somebody we cannot contact.
• Payment details are entered on Razorpay's own screens and are never seen, handled or stored by us. We receive a payment reference, an amount, and a status — never a card number.
• Your one sentence, if you choose to send it, so it can be read and replied to before the session.
• Marketing consent, only if you tick the box asking for it. It is never ticked for you. Not ticking it does not affect anything you have bought.

Who else sees it

Only these, and only for the purpose named:

• Razorpay — to take the payment.
• Resend — to deliver email to you.
• Zoom — to run the session and issue your joining link.
• Vercel — to serve this website.
• Meta — the site loads a Meta advertising pixel, which records that a browser visited pages here and may be used to measure and target advertising. It is not given your name, email or phone number by us. You can block it with any tracker-blocking extension or browser setting.

Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared with anyone not on this list.

How long it is kept

Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Your one sentence is kept until the session has run and been replied to. If you asked for future announcements, your address is kept until you unsubscribe — one click, in every message.

Your rights

You may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be erased, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to bma@buildmyapp.live and it will be actioned. If you are not satisfied with the response, the grievance officer named on the contact page is the next step, and after that the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This workshop is sold to adults. It is not directed at children.
